福田重男(ジャズピアニスト)プロフィール
1957年前橋生まれ、高崎育ち。上京後辛島文雄氏に師事し、1980 年プロ・デビュー。
ジョージ・大塚マラカイボ、秋山一将グループ、鈴木良雄MATSURI、植松孝夫グループ、MALTA HIT&RUN、向井滋春グループ、
PARADOX 、藤陵雅裕4、市原康TRIO’等のグループでの活動のほか、松本英彦、渡辺貞夫、日野皓正、日野元彦、山口真文、土岐英史、橋本信二、道下和彦、五十嵐一生、セシル・モンロー、森泰人、チャリート他のミュージシャンと共演。
この間に10枚のリーダーアルバムを残し、JAZZ のみならず、高島忠夫、中尾ミエ、大地真央、布施明、DOUBLE 、 藍川由美、他ジャンルを超ええて80枚超の数多くのアルバムとコンサートに参加する。
またロン・カーター、アル・フォスター、ピーター・アースキン、マーク・ジョンソン、ジョー・チェンバース、アイラ・コールマン、デビット・フィンク他、海外のミュージシャンともレコーディング& ライブ等で共演する。
1989年よりJazz Life誌に「月刊スタンダード〜Special piano arrange」を2005年まで記載、好評を博す。1997 年よりYAMAHAミュージックの講師として後進の指導に当たる他、キーボードマガジン誌等へのアレンジ譜の寄稿も数多い。
現在は自己のトリオ( 奥平真吾d、金森もといb) の他、三木俊雄ts フロントページ・オーケストラ、布川俊樹g とのDUO、浜崎航とのDUO、河原秀夫b ペンタグラム等で活躍中。

Shigeo Fukuda (Jazz Pianist) Profile
Born in Maebashi in 1957, raised in Takasaki. After moving to Tokyo, he studied under Fumio Karashima and made his professional debut in 1980.
He has performed with groups such as George Otsuka Maracaibo, Kazumasa Akiyama Group, Yoshio Suzuki MATSURI, Takao Uematsu Group, MALTA HIT&RUN, Shigeharu Mukai Group,
PARADOX, Masahiro Fujioka 4, and Yasushi Ichihara TRIO’. He has also collaborated with musicians such as Hidehiko Matsumoto, Sadao Watanabe, Terumasa Hino, Motohiko Hino, Mabumi Yamaguchi, Hidefumi Toki, Shinji Hashimoto, Kazuhiko Michishita, Issei Igarashi, Cecil Monroe, Yasuhito Mori, and Charito.
During this period, he released 10 leader albums and participated in over 80 albums and concerts, transcending genres beyond jazz, collaborating with artists such as Tadao Takashima, Mie Nakao, Mao Daichi, Akira Fuse, DOUBLE, and Yumi Aikawa.
He also collaborated with international musicians such as Ron Carter, Al Foster, Peter Erskine, Mark Johnson, Joe Chambers, Ira Coleman, and David Fink in recordings and live performances.
From 1989 to 2005, he wrote the popular “Monthly Standards ~ Special Piano Arrange” column for Jazz Life magazine. Since 1997, he has taught at Yamaha Music, and has contributed numerous arrangements to publications such as Keyboard Magazine.
Currently, in addition to his own trio (with Shingo Okudaira on drums and Motoi Kanamori on bass), he is active in various projects including the Toshio Miki ts Front Page Orchestra, a duo with Toshiki Nunokawa on guitar, a duo with Wataru Hamasaki, and the Hideo Kawahara b Pentagram.
